Phone and watch apps and Motocomm firmware.

The Android app

The app includes ride recording, SOS, groups and your garage.

Version 1.1745.0 50.4 MB

What is new in this version

Beta 8.11: messaging is more reliable - read stays read after closing the app, new messages arrive in order without duplicates, tapping a notification opens the conversation (and when you were signed out, signing in takes you straight to the message); if your kit is reset you can pair it again without the Wi-Fi dialog timing out; 'Ride now' from a group page starts a ride for the same group, and 'Navigate' opens navigation in one tap and brings you back to the ride; the group join code is shown right after you create a group, and leaving a group does not change the kit's keys.

How to install

  1. Tap “Download for Android” and wait for the file to download.
  2. Open the file from the notification or from the Downloads folder.
  3. If Android asks for permission, open settings, enable “Allow from this source” for your browser, then return to the installation.
  4. After installation, the app offers new versions. Updates preserve your data.
If Play Protect asks to scan the app

If you see “App scan recommended”, choose “Scan app” (recommended). Google will check this file. Follow the result on screen to continue.

In the same dialog, you can choose “More details” → “Install without scanning”. If asked, enter your phone’s PIN or password.

Motocomm firmware

Update or reset your Motocomm W12 over a USB data cable, from a computer with Chrome or Edge. The phone app also updates the firmware without a cable.

Galaxy Watch app

The Wear OS watch app works together with the phone app.

Version 0.5.1-wear 4.4 MB

Needs the phone app, version 1.953.0 or newer.

How to install it without a computer
  1. Update the phone app to version 1.953.0 or newer.
  2. If the watch has an older test version of the app, uninstall it first.
  3. On the watch, turn on the developer options (Settings → About watch → Software, tap “Software version” several times), then “ADB debugging” and “Wireless debugging”.
  4. On the phone, install Wear Installer 2 or Bugjaeger from Google Play and connect to the watch over Wi-Fi with the address and code from “Wireless debugging”.
  5. Download the watch file on the phone and install it through that app. Then turn debugging off on the watch.

Install the site

The installed site opens full screen from the home screen on your phone or computer.

If no button appears, choose “Install” or “Add to Home screen” from the browser menu.
